Educational Music Catalogue.

A review of educational music resources throughout Canada, as presently available to private studios, schools, conservatories, and festivals, shows that the representation of educational music by Canadian women composers is severely lacking. Music for pedagogical purposes is vitally important, but rarely highlighted.

This catalogue would be made available to Conservatories, music schools, festivals, and private and public teachers across Canada. The purpose of such a catalogue would be to increase awareness and access to educational-style material composed by Canadian women composers, as well as encouraging music festivals and schools to highlight such repertoire and encourage its study and performance.
