The ACWC has awarded Diane Berry and Olivia Korosak the Spring 2024 Concert Sponsorship Fund. The Concert Sponsorship supports funding for concerts, events, or workshops organized by an ACWC member or if a key collaborator is an ACWC member.

The ACWC presents the second of two concerts that were made possible by our Concert Sponsorship Fund. Music By Women Performance Marathon will be an afternoon of music composed by women organized by Olivia Adams. The concert takes place on March 9th at 10,000 Hours Piano Rehearsal Studio. Carmen Braden (Yellowknife, NT) and Heather Hindman (Edmonton) are this year’s recipients of the Roberta Stephen Composition award.

Applications for the 7th annual Roberta Stephen Award are open and are due on October 23rd, 2023.

On September 16th, 2023, Whispering River Music is presenting a Family Arts Fest and Concert featuring 5 Canadian women composers.
