Calgary Performing Arts Festival Partnership

The ACWC is thrilled to announce a new four-year partnership with the Calgary Performing Arts Festival (CPAF). Starting in 2027, ACWC will sponsor an annual scholarship recognizing the student who gives the most outstanding performance of a work from the ACWC Educational Music Catalogue.

This partnership is all about getting the music of Canadian women composers into the hands of students and teachers. The catalogue is a free resource featuring works across all levels and disciplines, and this scholarship will help more young performers discover this incredible repertoire.

A huge thank you to the Calgary Performing Arts Festival for their enthusiasm and support in making this happen. We can't wait to see students exploring and performing these works!
