Bio
Gerda Blok-Wilson’s works have been premiered and recorded by groups including the Gesualdo Six (England), Voces Inauditae (Scotland), Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen Youth Choir (Austria), Choirs for Change (Halifax), Elora Singers, Vancouver Chamber Choir, Chor Leoni Men’s Choir, BC Boys Choir, St Patrick Regional High School Choirs, Cansing choir, Linden Singers (Victoria) and the Prince George Bel Canto and Cantata Choirs.

When Gerda is not composing, she acts as Artistic director for Vancouver Cansing Choir and Artist in Residence for St Patrick’s Regional High School.
Gerda holds a Bachelor of Music and Professional Teaching Certificate (UBC), Kodály Teaching certificate (Vancouver Academy of Music), Master of Education (U of Calgary)-Kodály Music Education.
She has publications at Cypress Music Publisher, PH Publishers, Themes and Variations and Sheet Music Plus/Sheet Music Direct.
