Congratulations to our 2024 Initiatives Fund Winner, Tawnie Olson!

Tawnie will be creating a demo recording of the overture of her award-winning chamber opera, "Sanctuary and Storm”  to be used to promote the opera to potential presenters, and serve as an example of her current approach to instrumental writing in grant applications and discussions with potential commissioners. It will be rehearsed and recorded in May, 2024 with the Yale School of Music graduate student instrumentalist and conductor Sarah Shapiro.
