ACWC/ACC Treasurer

We are looking to find our ACWC Treasurer. We look forward to hearing from interested members and to share with our membership this exciting opportunity to get more involved in the organization.

About the role.

The Treasurer is a board member, working together with the Board, to help shape how the organization plans their budget and creates financial objectives to support the organization’s goals. The Treasurer is responsible for the general management of the ACWC’s finances, including AP/AR, budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting.

Because this position includes being a voting member of the Board, they collaborate and contribute to discussions and decisions that help our membership and community and help shape the organization.

Overall time commitment.

Generally 5-6 hours a month (estimate), accounting for additional tasks that may come up. Specific recurring tasks include:

  • Collecting, tracking, and providing receipts for membership dues & donations – ongoing, as they come in

  • Issuing payments for the ACWC’s various funds and awards, including verifying final reports for the Concert/Project Sponsorship Fund and processing invoices and expense forms – ongoing, as they come in 

  • Drafting annual budget in collaboration with the Chair and the Board – yearly

  • Creating and submitting annual financial statements and year-end returns – yearly

Start date.

Beginning of February 2026 (with a full month of onboarding and setup with our current Treasurer) - to be voted in at the AGM in August 2026.
